SA HOUSE
Originating from the client’s wish for a simple, modern, and comfortable home, this project sits on a compact plot within a dense neighborhood. The site offered both opportunity and challenge—two façade orientations but direct west-facing sunlight. The solution was a clean geometric massing with layered details in wood, tile, and steel, creating a warm yet contemporary character.
Modern simplicity in dialogue with tropical calm
Designed on a 156 m² plot within a quiet residential area, the house explores the balance between privacy, openness, and connection to nature. The building mass stretches along the north–south axis, allowing for optimal sunlight and ventilation while framing an inner courtyard with a small pool as the home’s central heart. This courtyard not only enhances spatial flow but also creates a calm, cooling microclimate throughout the interiors. Through clean modern lines, warm natural materials, and the play of light and shadow, the design embodies Argaki Studio’s vision of tropical modern living — a serene retreat that feels modern yet profoundly homey.
